In a modern world that uses renewable energy sources, it is crucial to tackle the problem of energy storage. In addition to our other activities, we are working on a thermo-mechanical energy storage system called the Carnot Battery. Such devices store any excess energy in the grid and are able to quickly release it back during power shortages. We offer turbines that efficiently use the energy stored in the form of compressed or liquefied air (CAES or LAES technologies). Thanks to our own development centre, we have experimentally tested air expansion technologies that achieve high efficiency. We can offer tailored turbines designed for these modern storage plants.
