INFORMATION UNDER THE ACT ON THE PROTECTION OF WHISTLEBLOWERS

The company Doosan Škoda Power a.s. ("Company Doosan") strives for an open and trusting atmosphere in which problems and conflicts can be solved or feedback can be given and received. In accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of persons who report infringements of Union law, as amended, and Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers, as amended ("Act"), we offer the possibility to report negative phenomena such as unlawful acts having the characteristics of a criminal offence, misdemeanours with a maximum fine of at least 100 thousand CZK or violating the Act or any other law or regulation of the European Union in the areas specified in the Act, and thus help to eliminate them and at the same time strengthen the transparency of our corporate culture. We have therefore developed a whistleblowing system to ensure that whistleblowers are consistently protected in accordance with the Act.

The competent persons ("Competent Person") appointed to deal with notifications under the Act ("Notification") are:

The Competent Persons are obliged to maintain confidentiality of all facts of which they become aware in connection with the Notification and its investigation.
Notification can be made through the following communication channels:
1. NAVEX Line: +420 800 144 105 in Czech, English or Korean. Notification will be given only to the Competent Person.

2. TELEPHONIC: +420 800 023 025 a free answering service that transmits the Notice in writing only to the Competent Person.

3. E-MAIL to Competent Person: [email protected].

4. IN PERSON: To the Competent Person at the registered office of the Company Doosan at Tylova 1/57, 301 00 Pilsen, The Czech Republic, after prior agreement on the time of personal submission of the Notification.

5. IN WRITING:
a) by dropping it in the Compliance-Whistleblowing box located at the Company Doosan's headquarters out of camera range outside the entrance to Compliance Office No. SP138 on the 1st floor of the North Annex of the Manufacturing Hall; or

b) by sending it to:

Who can submit a Notification?
Only current or former employees or prospective employees of the Company Doosan, agency workers temporarily assigned to the Company Doosan, or persons performing volunteer work, apprenticeship or internship at the Company Doosan ("Whistleblower") may submit a Notification.

Notifications by other persons (such as the Company Doosan's business partners and their employees), anonymous notifications or notifications concerning negative phenomena not listed in the Act are not considered Notifications within the meaning of the Act, however, even such notifications made by any of the above methods will be objectively investigated and the identity of such persons making such notifications in good faith will be protected, but outside the scope of the Act.
Whistleblower Protection and Consequences of Knowingly False Notification
The Company Doosan warrants, in accordance with the Act, the confidentiality of the identity of the Whistleblower and all communications with the Whistleblower and the protection of the Whistleblower from any retaliation, unless the Whistleblower makes a knowingly false Notification.

Given the circumstances and the information available to the Whistleblower at the time of the Notification, the Whistleblower should have sufficient grounds to believe that the facts reported or published by the Whistleblower are true, since a Whistleblower who knowingly submits a false Notification commits an offence under the Act, for the commission of which a fine of up to 50 thousand CZK may be imposed.
