    The Turbomachinery 2016 conference

    Turbomachinery conferences are organised by members of the Turbomachinery Plzeň Regional Branch of the Association of Mechanical Engineers (A.S.I.) in cooperation with Doosan Škoda Power once every two years.

    This year, the conference will take place in the attractive lecture rooms of the Techmania Science Centre on 21 and 22 September 2016.

    Results of research into the current issues related to turbomachinery, such as the application of new findings, computing methods, operation, diagnostics, reliability, and experiments in this field, will be presented and discussed at the conference.

    Conference participants include representatives of academia, industrial specialists, and customers.

    The first session will focus on the successful project for the Temelín Turbine Upgrade – Design and Unique Measurements of the Aerodynamic and Thermodynamic Parameters in the LP Stage.

    Jan Lepičovský, who works at the NASA Glenn Center and Lockheed Martin, will deliver one of the keynote contributions.
